Multivitamin and mineral improves psychological wellbeing
In a double-blind randomised-control trial, 80 healthy male volunteers were assigned to either an oral multivitamin and mineral or placebo. After 28 days, treatment with the multivitamin and mineral was associated with consistent and statistically significant reductions in anxiety and perceived stress on questionnaires measuring psychological state. Participants in the active group also tended to rate themselves as less tired and better able to concentrate following treatment.
