Peta Lock

Peta Lock – Ayurvedic Practitioner & MSTR® International Instructor
B.Sc. (Hons) Pathology, Adv. Dip. Ayurveda
Peta Lock brings a unique blend of biomedical science, Ayurveda, and therapeutic bodywork to her practice. With more than 28 years of experience spanning medical research, embryology, and clinical practice, she combines a strong scientific foundation with a holistic approach to health and healing.
Peta’s practice focuses on three key areas: McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® (MSTR®), Ayurvedic consultations, and traditional Ayurvedic massage (Abhyunga).
She is one of only three Art of Bodywork® International Instructors worldwide and is highly regarded for her work supporting people with post-surgical and trauma-related scars. MSTR® is a gentle, non-invasive technique that aims to improve scar mobility, comfort, function, and the wider fascial restrictions that scars can create throughout the body.
Through her Ayurvedic consultations, Peta works with clients to understand the underlying causes of imbalance and develop personalised strategies using nutrition, lifestyle, and herbal medicine. She also offers traditional Ayurvedic massage treatments, designed to support relaxation, circulation, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing.
Known for her warm, client-centred approach, Peta helps people reconnect with their bodies and move towards better health through treatments that are both practical and deeply restorative.
Outside of the clinic, Peta is an ocean swimmer, beekeeper, and passionate advocate for accessible health care – currently bringing specialist MSTR® treatments and training to regional and remote communities across Western Australia.
