Dr Emily Sist – Chiropractor
Dr Emily’s passion for chiropractic developed from an interest in understanding the mind-body connection, how we store stressful events and thoughts in our body, and how this affects our posture, our body functions and ultimately how we live our life. Her strong desire to help people improve their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing drove her to change from being a corporate executive to a holistic chiropractor. She strongly believes in the body’s ability to self heal.
Her approach is to guide one to connect with and reorganise the parts of themselves that have become fragmented from the whole. Working with the nervous system and musculoskeletal system to release stored tension, the body is realigned and functions more optimally.
Emily’s style of practice is very caring, predominantly gentle and while is very results focused, meets the person where they are at.
Dr Emily graduated as a chiropractor from Murdoch University in 2009 with a first class honours. She had her own, very successful practice in the centre of Fremantle for 12 years. She has a studied a variety of chiropractic techniques both in Australia and internationally, teaching technique to others also. Emily is a member of the Australian Chiropractic Association (Aust) and registered with AHPRA.
Emily is certified to the highest level in Network Spinal and Bio-geometric integration. She also has undertaken a Diplomat in Chiropractic Paediatrics and therefore works with newborns, toddlers and children as well as adults. She is also very skilled working with extremities (wrists, elbows, shoulders. hips, knees and feet) as well as the entire spine. She is passionate about nutrition, healthy lifestyle and emotional wellbeing. She loves the outdoors, travel and especially being in nature.
