Women's Health Clinic

At NatMed we specialise in women’s health.

Offering support for women at all stages of life from puberty right through to menopause and older age.

We have practitioners who are highly trained and experienced in women’s health problems such as infertility, hormonal problems such as endometriosis, and hypothyroidism.

At NatMed we can quickly assess causal factors and effective solutions for common ailments such as PMT as well as more involved problems such as endometriosis, infertility and migraines.

We assess mineral and vitamin deficiencies specific to women such as folate, iron, b12 and vitamin D as well as general nutritional wellbeing. We can test hormone levels using blood and saliva testing. All initial consultations include involved in house tests to establish base lines for health parameters which can be tested from consult to consult to give us feedback as to how you are progressing.

SHIFT! Weight Loss

Check out our SHIFT! Weight Loss Program Today!

Your initial consultation at NaMed will evaluate baselines such as muscle mass, inflammatory levels and adrenal reserves. We will then take a thorough history.

We may also need to gather your results from pathology tests previously done.

You will then receive a write up of all our findings, a diet guideline and a nutrition prescription to facilitate your return to wellness. We will then often need you to do more pathology tests to ensure that we have everything covered to get you better as quickly as possible.

Can’t eat a thing without gaining weight? You may need your thyroid tested!

Thyroid testing using Thyroflex

Active, bioavailable thyroid hormones are found in muscles. The original testing method for thyroid function is now
available and can be cross referenced against standard pathology tests to thoroughly assess the activity of your thyroid gland.

Thyroid testing can be done as part of a follow up consultation if your practitioner thinks it is warranted.

We have turned many women’s lives around by identifying and treating sub clinical hypothyroidism.
