Peta Lock

Ayurvedic Practitioner & MSTR® International Instructor
Peta Lock – Ayurvedic Practitioner & MSTR® International Instructor
B.Sc. (Hons) Pathology, Adv. Dip. Ayurveda

Peta brings a unique blend of biomedical science, Ayurveda, and therapeutic bodywork to her practice. With 28 years of experience spanning medical research, embryology, and clinical practice, she combines a strong scientific foundation with a holistic approach to wellness.

Highly regarded for her work supporting people with post-surgical and injury-related scars, Peta is a McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release® (MSTR®) International Instructor and one of only three Art of Bodywork® Instructors worldwide. MSTR® is a gentle, non-invasive technique that improves scar mobility, comfort, function, and the wider fascial restrictions that scars can create throughout the body.

Peta believes stress and environmental toxins are the greatest drivers of illness today — and aims to empower clients with practical tools and therapies that support the body’s own intelligence. Central to her practice is a deep respect for fascia: quartz-like, intelligent, always tracking where we are in space and whether we are safe.

Through Ayurvedic consultation, Peta helps clients uncover the underlying causes of imbalance and develop personalised strategies using nutrition, lifestyle, and herbal medicine — supported by Ayurvedic massage therapies designed to restore circulation, settle the nervous system, and promote overall wellbeing.

Known for her warm, unhurried and trauma-informed approach, Peta helps people reconnect with their bodies through therapies that are both practical and deeply restorative.
