The NatMed Detox Program
The NatMed detox program involves three workshops held over 3 weeks or 3 one on one consultations which include the same information and stages.
We run regular detox groups, please call to find out when our next group is running or to book your initial one on one detox course.
During your fist session we give you all the background information. You will learn how to monitor your body pH, How to eat right for your blood type and learn what causes us to become congested with toxins and waste. This helps you to understand the benefits of detoxification. You will be given an individualised detox program you can repeat unaided every year. You will start the education process, start the lifestyle change, start the environmental change and start on your path to a better you.
What to expect
You will need to provide a mid stream urine sample for testing, come 15min early with a full bladder - get your sample pot and instructions from reception upon arrival.
The 1st stage is gut balance and slowly reducing stimulants and toxins such as coffee, sugar and alcohol.
You will need to take supplements for the 1st 2 weeks to improve your gut functions. The supplements will be determined by the urine test and your current state of health.
The 2nd workshop looks at how the liver removes toxins from the blood stream and how to support the liver with foods, nutrients, and herbs. In this workshop you get to make and try some of the fresh juices included in the Detox. You will drink one fresh juice a day for the next two weeks of liver cleanse. Supplements will be required for this stage to give the liver all the support it needs.
The 3rd workshop is all about how to come off the liver cleanse. How to reintroduce food back into your diet. We also look at ways to improve your environmental exposure to toxins in your home. At this time you will be half way through your liver cleanse and will do some yoga to support the nervous system and Detox organs.
You will learn how to reintroduce food back into your life and how to make more informed choices from this point on. We will also recap of our experiences as a group to provide better feedback for each other.
One on one consultations include a full diagnostic workup of liver function , Live blood Analysis, Magnagraph diagnosis, Bia cell health analysis and iridology reading as well as full health history. You will also get tested for blood type to help your practitioner choose the best detox program for you.
You will then receive a comprehensive detoxification regime tailored to your needs, budget and time constraints. One on one detox is for those whose schedule does not suit the workshop times and for those needing more one on one support such as people who suffer with chronic digestive ailments.
